Dan Lambeth started his network marketing career much like many others.
Following the advice of his sponsor and chasing and convincing his friends, family, neighbors,associates, etc…
After working most of the way through the “warm list” he was headed home from a lunch business presentation meeting where he had met his sponsor and one of the people on his “chicken list.”
A chicken list is the names on your warm list that you are CHICKEN to talk to because they are more successful than you and your friends.
This was the third name on his chicken list he had met with and it is amazing he even had the courage to call them about this.
Even though he had called his sponsor and let his sponsor give the presentations it still didn’t work. They took the product and some info home but didn’t sign up.
Anyway he was headed home and it struck him that he didn’t want to continue in this manner. All the rejections really sucked and some of his friends would not talk to him any more.
He really believed it was a great company, product, comp plan and even over all industry but there was a powerful tool that was not being utilized and if it were utilized it would completely change the way he did his business.
That tool was the Internet and even though he had sworn off ever trying to use a computer and thought the best use for one was to tie a rope around it and use it for a boat anchor he knew he had to learn how to use a computer.
He had bought his wife a computer to use in her real estate business a few months back and he got on it that day and couldn’t find the power button and was even picking it up to look for that pesky button.
That is how computer stupid he was but it didn’t deter him because when his wife got home he asked her about it and he went online for the first time ever. He figured out it was easier than he thought to get around on it. Don’t get the wrong idea, he had moments when he wanted to get that rope out. Even though he got up from that computer in disgust more than a few times he didn’t give up.
The first thing he looked for on the Internet was how to get leads and he found sites that wanted to sell leads but, since he was unemployed, he knew if he bought leads and called up strangers about his business, he would be doing the same thing with them as he was doing with his friends and family. Basically it would be like preaching to a sleeping congregation since no one was interested or cared and it could mean a lot of wasted money.
It was a crucial connection he made and one not many people make before they have already bought leads from some online leads vendor. He just knew there had to be a better way and while he was searching around he ran into a little video that showed a funny little guy that was doing the same things he had been doing. Except that guy did waste his money and buy leads and call them.
When the video was over there was a site to visit with a solution. A lead generation and marketing training system that is generic, customizable and self branding, and it was a funded proposal, affiliate marketing, attraction marketing system and marketing community all rolled up into one.
Most of those classifications were Greek to him and being he was new to the Internet he was very skeptical. But he wanted to make his new business work so he set about figuring out what all that stuff meant and the legitimacy of this lead generation system.
He did understand some of it. He knew what lead generation meant because that was what he needed and he knew that marketing training would help him and that if it was a community he would be able to get help. He also knew that generic meant he would be able to use it for any online business.
But what in the world did funded proposal, affiliate marketing, self branding and attraction marketing mean and how could it be customizable? And more importantly, was this some Internet scam? Since that last one was the most important question to him that is where he started with his research.
He searched around about the company, MLMLeadSystemPRO, and decided they were legit. He decided to try it out since it was so cheap and they offered free training. He was very nervous and scared but he paid the start up cost and started looking around. He discovered what all those other terms meant.
He found out the system is crazy customizable and there are many things you can do to make it fit your promotions or campaigns. He figured out that funded proposal means you have an information product you can sell and make a commission to use for your advertising budget. He discovered that affiliate marketing means he can make many commissions from different tools and services that are offered on his behalf to all the leads he is able to generate. He also found out that self branding is about promoting YOU as a leader which is a concept that is key to attraction marketing which basically means you learn to attract prospects to you instead of chasing them and trying to convince them they need to start a home business with you.
He also found out he would be building a list of prospects which would be his own LIST. He would be building a relationship with those on the list with an email campaign that the system provides and allows him to add to as he learns or makes new discoveries about marketing strategies. Finally, he would be making money off the list because of the relationships he builds and the affiliate programs that pay him when someone buys one of the tools or services he promotes.
This is how attraction marketing works and it is amazing how different it is than just trying to get people to sign up into one network marketing company. With this you have a system that allows you to earn while you learn and it helps you make money to use for your advertising budget while you are generating leads to try to build your network marketing business.
With the right training anybody can build their own business from home that truly grows all the time and you can do it without all the rejections, disappointments and discouragement that goes along with those “old school” methods of building a home based business.
This system is also being led by three guys that are highly proactive and always refining and improving the system. They do this because they are using the system to build their own businesses. They are also taking the network marketing world to new levels and the system members are learning so much that those not in the system will be dominated by system members continually in this industry.
