Network Marketing Like Star Trek’s Spock Kills Conan The Barbarian’s Methods

Network marketing in this Information Age the way Conan would do it is no where near as effective as the Spock would do it. It is unbelievable how many MLM companies are still using Stone Age methods. Like cold calling strangers, pestering friends and family and buying leads. Network marketing is very difficult and time consuming when you are steadily pursuing an unqualified and uninterested ” warm list.”
Everybody should be looking for split second techniques to match their lightning fast electronic toys so they can bring modern technology to bear in their network marketing business. Rather than ride their horse around like Conan shouting their opportunity to every one in sight, they should be going on line to use modern technology like Spock would use to magnetically attract qualified prospects to them.
Let’s check out the realities of these contrasting styles
CONAN – He uses amateurish methods like calling a “warm list” hoping to sign up a few of his friends and family.
SPOCK – He uses websites and blogs with emails and social sites to build a list of experienced and qualified network marketers that he can give value to and build trust with, thereby having the ability to promote services and products.
CONAN – He invites unqualified prospects to tasting parties and hotel meetings for night time, hour long opportunity pitches only to learn that the prospect has no interest.
SPOCK – He puts prerecorded webinars on his websites so that interested prospects can investigate in their own time. this leverages his time and eliminates rejection.
CONAN – He tries to use coercive sales pitches or tries to convince closed minded people to sign up or buy his product.
SPOCK – He provides value to build trust and comfort with open minded prospects thereby helping others to succeed which makes them want to join him in business.
CONAN – He uses the SW philosophy {Some Will – Some Won’t- So What- Someone else is Waiting} wrong and, without any follow up, mentally dismisses everyone he can not sign up immediately.
SPOCK – He realizes people join people they don’t join companies and he uses auto-responders and education to follow up indefinitely so when the timing is right, the prospect could sign up much later than the initial contact.
CONAN – He uses mystery and deception to get appointments so he can show his product and pitch his opportunity.
SPOCK – He cultivates relationships with qualified prospects by positioning himself as a leader and an expert using websites, blogs and videos to educate and build trust.
Instead of buying leads and chasing warm lists or cold calling strangers, thereby dealing with constant rejection, your time is better spent and more rewarding and productive when you use the advantages of our modern technology to do your network marketing
